Historical Buildings & Places to Stay

Studley House Farm
In times past, it would only have been the aristocracy who could stay in a historic 19th Century farmhouse in beautiful countryside, on the site of an ancient Royal Forest, and close to what is possibly England's smallest stately home - a veritable English Chateau. But today you can enjoy this same privilege at Studley House Farm in the North Yorkshire village of Ebberston, away from the bustle of everyday life.

The Bar Convent, York
The Bar Convent is the oldest living convent in England, established in 1686. It now offers a variety of award winning facilities for the general public, businesses and historians alike. There is a fascinating museum bringing the history of the Bar Convent to life. The beautiful chapel is open throughout the day and serious research students may apply for access to the extensive library & archives.

Harewood House
